TAUPŌ RACING CLUB
After 10 years of great service our wonderful Secretary is standing down.
Our Club is looking for a dynamic, positive person to take over at this progressive Club.
Ideally the new person would be able to start the new Racing Season on the 1st August 2025.
Taupō Racing Club is growing strongly and the new candidate will be required to work closely with the Committee, club staff, members, sponsors, supporters and NZ Thoroughbred Racing,
Tasks Include:
- Financial Management moving to Xero accounting software
- Managing correspondence and preparing documents
- Minutes from Club Meetings
- Adapting to NZ Thoroughbred Racing regulations
- Trial and Race Day preparation, promotion and event management
- Health & Safety and online data entry
- Assisting with funding requests
Initially the role will need to be a 2 day attendance at the Club Office as well as working on Trial Days (4 Approximately) Race Days (5 Minimum), and monthly evening committee meetings.
Candidates will have strong administrative, organisational and communication skills, be motivated, conscientious and a good team player.
The successful candidate will work in a positive environment and be able to drive the club forward.
