Experienced Track Rider

Required: Experienced Track Rider.

Highview Stud is seeking an experienced fast work/track rider to join our 300 acre Thoroughbred Stud farm/racing stable on the outskirts of Hamilton (New Zealand).

The successful applicant must be capable of riding 8-10 horses daily as well as having the ability to educate horses through barriers, riding at jump outs and display accurate timed fast work. 

Previous experience breaking in young horses is required.

Applicant must be able to carry out instructions and demonstrate a high level of communication.

Previous experience within a thoroughbred racing stable is a must.

We are offering competitive remuneration and negotiation of salary and terms.

Applicants must hold a valid work visa or be a NZ resident.
