Wexford Stables is located at Matamata Racing Club, Matamata and has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Senior Horse Person to join their expanding team.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing Staff and Horses in a racing stable environment
- Daily record keeping
- Experienced and confident at Saddling & Unsaddling Thoroughbreds for Work, Trials & Races
- Good communication skills for client liaison
- General stable duties and care of Thoroughbred Racehorses
The successful applicant will show:
- GREAT horsemanship and knowledge of Horse Racing
- Be physically fit, have good work ethic and communication skills.
- The ability to be a team leader and work well within a team
- Excellent time management skills
The successful applicant will receive:

- This is a full-time position
