Track Rider/Stable Hand – Andrew Campbell Racing

We’re looking for a reliable and confident track rider/stable hand to join our team at Ōtaki Racecourse. As a smaller stable, we truly appreciate our staff—you’ll be well looked after here! Our horses are like family, so we need someone who is kind, patient, and passionate about their care.

You’ll need to be a confident and capable rider, as we have young horses in the mix. If you have experience, there are opportunities to attend jumpouts, trials, and races. This role could also be a great fit if you're nearing the end of your apprenticeship and seeking more opportunities in the Central Districts—we’re always happy to support up-and-coming riders!

Afternoon work and some weekends are required. Duties include mucking out, feeding, handling horses on and off the walker, saddling, hosing, covering, and holding horses for the vet and farrier.
